Tribute to Chet

Tribute to Chet delivers a new spin on the style of Chet Baker through performing his repertoire alongside current pop-tunes re-arranged in a jazz style and original material contributed by all three members. Rebecca Hennessy fronts the group with a beautiful trumpet tone and an understated clear vocal style, supported by Don Scott on guitar and Michael Herring on bass.

Tribute to Chet will be performing at the Waring House near Picton with Brennan Louw filling in on guitar on October 14th.

October 2007

Recorded and produced by Michael's Trail Mix Studio (and featuring Michael, not only on bass, but singing and doing a cameo on piano), The Loitering Heroes, the musical side of TV writer Kevin Parnell, will release Beast Alert at the Tranzac on October 12.
